Discussion on the process of building ADUs. Some of the common obstacles found (appraisals, lending programs, municipality regulations) and what may be helpful in the future to be able to build more ADUs for those who want them.
About the presenter:
Chris Lee Is the CEO and founder of Backyard ADUs, a company specializing in building small dwellings and ADUs for families. Today he oversees Backyard's work as a leader in off-site construction and building an ADU per week, and several large scale multi-family projects.
Chris has a background in Finance and economics, and learned the construction and development space by working on his own small development projects. He lives in Brunswick with his wife and two young daughters.
